Who we are

This website takes call-out requests for plumbing work in Pretoria North and the surrounding suburbs of the City of Tshwane, under the name Noord Plumbing. Below is what happens to what you type into the call-out form, set out the way the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) asks.

What we collect

Just the fields of the form: name, phone number, suburb, the type of job, how urgent it is, and any note you add. The form never asks for an ID number, a street address or bank details, so please leave them out.

Like most websites, the server keeps short technical logs (such as the time of a request and the browser used) to keep the site working and secure.

Why we collect it

So the plumber can call you about this job, agree a fee and a time, and arrange the visit. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.

Where it goes

Pressing the button emails your request to the plumber who takes call-outs in this area. Delivery runs through Resend, an email service that handles the message only to deliver it. The website itself runs on Vercel. Both may process data outside South Africa, under their own security terms.

How long we keep it

A request is kept while your job is open and while a follow-up is still possible. If the work goes ahead and is invoiced, the record stays for as long as tax and business law requires. Then it is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold on you, have it corrected, or have it removed, except where a law says it must be kept. Use the call-out form for that too: choose "Something else" and say what you need, and the reply comes to the number you leave.

Complaints about how your details were handled can go to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page.
